When I Think Of You ... Friend

I thought of you this morning… 
My always... special friend 
As I looked out my window pane 
There in my thoughts... 
I said your precious name 

For when I think of you 
I hold you in my heart… so near 
Visualizing your wonderful face 
Your friendship… I hold so dear 


And when the moon shines down on me… 
When all is quiet and still 
In those moments… I take your hand in mine 
For you will always hold that special place… 
No one else can ever fill 

Even through the miles…that stand between us 
We share a special bond… you and I 
One that I know will never end 
Because you have been… my angel here on earth 
My always-sweetest friend 

And when this day… 
Should come to an end 
I’ll be giving my thanks… 
Once again 

For there is no greater gift... 
That I could ever give to you 
Than sending my prayers… to the heavens above 
Asking our Lord to bless you
